Christmas Weekend

This Christmas weekend was great! We spent the holiday at my parents house and had a wonderful time. On Christmas Eve the cousins came over and we all hung out and played for a while. 

The boys busied themselves with their electronics.

Natalie is a huge fan of Alfredo's. He tickles her and lets her climb all over him.

Isaac is the sweetest little guy ever. I just love him and all his cuteness!

Natalie loves her new little cousin, Adalynn, after some initial reservations. All she wants to do is hold her now.

Natalie decided she wanted to play the photographer and actually did a pretty good job.

 After Christmas Eve night with the family, Adalynn was all partied out. She even slept in a little for me! Here is my precious angel on her first Christmas morning.

 She even helped open her own presents! More like we put the tissue paper in her hand and she wouldn't let go.

The day after Christmas, grandma took us out for a girl's day. Addie was styling in her new khaki pants that she got for Christmas. They are seriously the cutest little pants ever!

After this weekend of fun, we're going to need a couple of days to recover. It was all well worth it though! I loved spending so much time with our loved ones and just enjoying each other's company during this beautiful holiday season.

6 Weeks

I can't believe my baby is already 6 weeks old! She's growing too fast. We've moved on to size 1 diapers. It was a sad day when we stopped using the teeny tiny newborns. We did her 6 week photo shoot today and picking just one was really hard, so here is the runner-up!

As an update on Adalynn, she now only wakes up about twice a night, although she's a bit of a party animal and likes to stay up until around 11 or 12. We can actually get her to smile now which is probably the cutest thing ever! And she has now giggled a couple times in her sleep and it was adorable! I love my little baby and hanging out with her all day is the best job in the world!

Sneak peek

We finally got the disk of Adalynn's first photo shoot, but my computer won't read the disk. Hopefully we get it fixed soon! In the meantime here is a picture our photographer emailed to us. It's the worst teaser because I just want the rest!

Since I haven't updated this blog since March, I figured a recap of what has happened since I found out I was pregnant was necessary.

Moving on, Adalynn Sofia Hand was born on 11/10/11 at 10:18am. I promise to post more about her birth later. 

              ***update: I finally wrote her birth story!***     

She is now 1 month old and the most beautiful little princess ever. She's starting to be more alert and stay awake for longer periods of time, which is really fun for Kyle and me! Here she is in her diva outfit she wore to the Christmas party. I love her furry boots she got from her Aunty Jay!

I love my angel, and Kyle and I couldn't be happier right now.
