We took Adalynn for her first swim today! It actually did not start out great at all. She definitely was not loving the cooler water. We even had a little floatie ring for her, but she refused to sit in it. About an hour later we had given up hope. As a last effort, I waded into the shallow end of the pool with her and sat down on the steps. Turns out, the girl just wanted room to play on her own! She ended up having a blast and we had a blast with her. Now be prepared for an absolute overload of pictures! =]
At this moment in time, Addie was more concerned with the wet grass on the sidewalk than actually playing in the pool.
We finally got her to splash around a little bit.
Then it was back to the sidewalk

Finally done for the day and just waiting for daddy to come down the slide.
Swimming isn't all we've been up to. We've been obsessed with the Olympics lately! Adalynn and daddy watched some beach volleyball, and Addie actually sat and watched the whole thing! Looks like she's taking after her momma!
